This song started out as a chorus that I sang into my phone March 12, 2010, a day before I was married. I don't know what inspired the original chorus, but sitting down with in on May 4, 2012 it took on a new meaning and eventual developed into an internal dialogue of the blind beggar in Luke 18:35-42.

VERSE 1
It's a longing deep within,
A crying of the inner man, "There is more, there is more."
It's a hope yet long delayed,
Vision of a greater day, "There is more, there is more."

Love is drawing nearer,
O may my voice be one He'll hear

CHORUS
Reveal yourself to me,
Open my eyes that I may see the Truth of who You are
I'm blinded in my sin,
But feel your presence pressing in the Truth of who You are

VERSE 2
It's the stirring of the soul,
The loneliness of wondering there is more, there is more.
It's the gold within the flame,
Melting the impurities, there is more, there is more

Love is passing by me,
Will he choose to hear this cry? (chorus)

BRIDGE
Son of David, Son of David, do not pass me by.

CHORUS 2
I can't go on like this,
I'm so afraid that I will miss the truth of who You are
O Savior, hear this plea,
"Open my eyes that I may see the truth of who You are."

Reveal yourself to me,
Open my eyes that I may see the Truth of who You are
