Isaiah 30, March 24, 2008 (Recorded Jan. 16, 2010)
Words and Music by Leah Van Maaren

I wrote this song a few years ago, but never recorded. At the time it didn't have meaning that it now holds for me. That there is a loving and gracious God who longs to pour His healing on His people, but first is calling for our hearts to turn from Him again from the treasures of this world. I understand this deeper now as I also find my heart turning from the things of this world towards this loving and gracious God!

How He longs to be gracious to you
How He rises to show you compassion

For the Lord our God is a God of justice
Blessed those who wait patiently on Him

People of Zion, weep no more
He has heard our cry for help
Cast away worthless treasure
And see the rain come pouring down

Streams of water flow on every high mountain
The moon shines like the sun, and the sun that much brighter
Streams of water flow on every high mountain
The healing of the Lord pours down as we sing
And we sing on the mountain of God
